We have the right to be curious and wonder about mysterious anomalies in folklore and ancient tales, creating the sense of alluring uncertainty is a key part to our brand. Growing up we were told monsters weren't under our beds or aliens up in the sky. But what if it were because they really aren't here, but somewhere else all together? The Dark Continent is a cryptic location where anything you believe is real will be. This creative opportunity to express our childhood wonders along with evolving ideas of the occult is first and foremost as a fun way to share what I think are cool, if not atleast interesting designs. It is a dream of mine to one day see this brand become big and successful but growing up not being able to afford the $100+ trendy shirts made me want to make my own at a better price while still focusing on the cut, fitment, and quality of the pieces. I want people to buy one of my shirts and be able to wear it until it becomes a vintage grail at a Goodwill haha. The graphics of our pieces are meant to stand out from the crowd and push the narrative of "What Lies In The Unknown." Along with just highlighting various random characters and entities. We have a clear ethos and identity we strive to maintain and with that, we do not like middle grounds. Whether you love the garments or hate them, we ask you stay true to yourself and wear what you like. Middle at the end of the day is exactly that, MID, and I rather you hate the style and have a contrast of opinion fully opposed to being mediocre. Art is subjective after all.
At the end of the day have fun with our pieces and wear them how you wish, be curious and most of all, love everyone.
